The South Carolinian of biracial parentage defied the odds to become one of the most sought after icons in the industry. popularized the role of catwoman on the 60's tv show Batman. As a singer Ms. Kitt
will be remembered for the songs "Love For Sale", "C'est Si Bon" and her biggest hit of all "Santa Baby". She spoke four languages fluently and was able to sing in seven.
